I would first like to thank all the DIVAS, volunteers and vendors for
such a great week. Big hugs and kisses to you.

My first DLV in 2009 was such a huge stepping stone for my confidence. I
had never been out as Nikki in such a public environment. This year's
DLV was an even bigger stepping stone for me. When it was time to come
back home to drab Cleveland, I had the confidence to fly home as Nikki.
This was the absolute best feeling.

I cant wait to get back to Vegas. I'm going to miss everyone. I wish I
could've just bundled all of you up and brought you back to Cleveland
with me.

Take care Divas and keep in touch.

Hi.

I did the Opener, the Thrift shopping, the M Resort evening and the high
tea and all were just right for me.

The opener was the perfect place for what we needed to kick off the week
and it gave us some nice social time on Fremont street after dinner too.

The Thrift shopping though only a small group of 5 ladies and 1 gent was
a nice day out too. (I bought a really nice suit for a terrific price)
and the day went well for me. I can't see why anyone would complain
about it, I thought it was exactly what I expected and I enjoyed the
time we all spent together. We met up with JoAnne during the trip too
which was a nice surprise too.

The M Resort was a terrific evening and the girls who backed out missed
a spectacular evening of Lounge Hopping in a really nice resort. I went
to Aria on Friday night and even though it was just as spectacular as
the M, it was inundated with teeny boppers and the likes, Nice scenery
but a little overwhelming, whereas the M had an older wiser set in the
mix, the bar prices were reasonable too and we had a really nice night
out, I hope we do that again next year.

The High Tea was an event to behold for all who are older and love a
girly high end day out where we could dress in our best afternoon
outfits and be treated like the ladies we were.

All in all it was a wonderful week for me, I met some really really nice
people and hopefully the new friendships I made go on for ever.

I would like to run a similar event to the shopping next year only a
more spontaneous day than the structured ones we normally do. Like for
instance, 1 stop shopping, a few stops at prominent photo op's as Vegas
is known for, A light lunch somewhere nice and whatever comes up during
the day to make it better. We have 12 months to work on it! - Hopefully
I can get a local volunteer to help me with some informed ideas on this.

See you all again next year .

Huge Hugs. Katie

Katie,

Just wanted to let you know how much I enjoyed talking with you at the
High Tea.

One of the great advantages of Diva is meeting up with so many girls
from all over.

How was your trip back? I know you drove a very long way.

My drive back was relatively short but sad knowing that the week was
over.

Just make me looks forward to next year all the more.

One of the things I like the most about Diva is meeting so many girls
who are a long way from home and sharing stories that only Diva girls
can appreciate (such as embarassing moments that we couldn't tell our
families).

Look forward to seeing you next year

Hugs

Hi

To Mayilyn. I didn't drive this time, I flew and the return was a Red
Eye 10.30pm out of Vegas, getting into Detroit at 5 am + or so. **lol**
an experience to cherish you might say!

Thank's. You did a wonderful job on the tea outing. I will definitely be
interested in doing that again next year. My mom used to put those
things on for her friends and they all loved the experience from what I
can remember.

To DLV. - Please give my address to Marylyn in case she would like to
write. I am sorry I didn't get it from you when we were together. Old
age is creeping up on me I suppose!

Great week eh? ...as we say in

Canada.

Warm hugs. Katie.

Hi.

I am glad you let me talk you into the Tea time too, It was a Don't miss
event for all women who like that kind of afternoon ambiance and soft
girly times. Although I realize this would not be an event for everyone
I know everyone who attended was smiling inside and out the whole time.
We had such a nice day out and the surroundings and company couldn't
have been better.

The Shopping trip was quite an unique experience for me too. I got to
try on a suit in a store which was quite foreign to me until that day.

Thank you so much Gabi for making me feel like a lady. It is quite hard
for me sometimes to feel that good about myself.

Congrat's to "The Good Ship DLV"... Love to all who sail in her. .

Katie and Marilyn,

This was my first time at Diva. I missed the opener because of late
arrival but did go to the thrift store event and had a wonderful time. I
think that's where we met Katie. Had fun at the M. Thanks to Tracyluv
for the ride in her classic 1984 BMV. I love cars. (own a driving
school).

During the day I did lots of walking. I'm a morning girl so was up. I
loved the tea!! I had a hat and gloves I carried from Vermont to wear
but didn't figure I had to be out of my hotel.

Thanks Katie for the ride to the tea and insisting I come even though I
couldn't be properly dressed. I enjoyed our time together @ Diva.
Marilyn U did a wonderful job organizing the event and loved meeting and
chatting with U.

My flight home was a red eye.

Got home after no shower for 36 hours.

My bathroom was worked on while I was gone. I have one so I figured that
was the only way. Got back and it wasn't finished. OMG this was one
tired woman and a bit cranky I might add.

I loved the oportunity to meet so many woman from around the country
also but the best part of Diva was being able to be just who I am all
the time.

Gabi
