Hi.
I did the Opener, the Thrift shopping, the M Resort evening and the high
tea and all were just right for me.
The opener was the perfect place for what we needed to kick off the week
and it gave us some nice social time on Fremont street after dinner too.
The Thrift shopping though only a small group of 5 ladies and 1 gent was
a nice day out too. (I bought a really nice suit for a terrific price)
and the day went well for me. I can't see why anyone would complain
about it, I thought it was exactly what I expected and I enjoyed the
time we all spent together. We met up with JoAnne during the trip too
which was a nice surprise too.
The M Resort was a terrific evening and the girls who backed out missed
a spectacular evening of Lounge Hopping in a really nice resort. I went
to Aria on Friday night and even though it was just as spectacular as
the M, it was inundated with teeny boppers and the likes, Nice scenery
but a little overwhelming, whereas the M had an older wiser set in the
mix, the bar prices were reasonable too and we had a really nice night
out, I hope we do that again next year.
The High Tea was an event to behold for all who are older and love a
girly high end day out where we could dress in our best afternoon
outfits and be treated like the ladies we were.
All in all it was a wonderful week for me, I met some really really nice
people and hopefully the new friendships I made go on for ever.
I would like to run a similar event to the shopping next year only a
more spontaneous day than the structured ones we normally do. Like for
instance, 1 stop shopping, a few stops at prominent photo op's as Vegas
is known for, A light lunch somewhere nice and whatever comes up during
the day to make it better. We have 12 months to work on it! - Hopefully
I can get a local volunteer to help me with some informed ideas on this.
See you all again next year .
Huge Hugs. Katie
