Following all of this thread and from reading other websites, it
seems to me that this was not a T-specific case, but more likely,
what seems to be door policy at a lot of the higher-profile clubs.

Namely, that they want young (21 - 35), attractive women, and young,
wealthy men who will buy the bottle service for the former. Anyone
who is not young and attractive (I so hate the de rigueur terminology
"hot") is going to left waiting in line all night.

It certainly sucks, but it also seems to be the primary way of doing
business on the Vegas club circuit.

Probably un-written policy.... so they don't have any legal
problems when its your word versus their words, and memory
can be bad as far as remembering what was said.

Sounds like the average 'pick-up' night club for heterosexuals.

I wonder if there are other favors that go back to the bouncer
by those attractive women at a later time and date.

As mentioned earlier, maybe these clubs had some negative issues
with cding or ts people in the club (ie rest room issues, fights,
arguments or whatever) in the past, so the easiest way to avoid
these types of problems is to stop any observable ts or cd at the
door. Those that get past the 'guido's must have that certain
look, talk, and behave as a woman that they allow into the club.

It makes bottom line sense...the girls have proven to bring in
more money to the venue. The guys and gg girls get what they
want, not something they didn't want or expect or possible
potential problem with cd's or t's

So it sound like for those that go, whether be a ts or cd woman,
they must very passable and attractively dress the part, so that
anyone that looks or talks to them only sees a gg woman.

I wonder if these venues have "We have the right to refuse
service to anyone." type of sign or someplace in or near
the entrance areas allows them 'carte blanche' to exclude people?

They don't need a sign.

One thing that was brought up years ago during the
first restroom discussions, and confirmed by my
attorney, is that in Nevada, use of most private
property which is open to the public is "at will" of
the owners and managers. They can legally include and
exclude at will as long as they do not violate any
anti-discrimination laws and such.

This has been confirmed over and over by precedent.

Denying use of private property which is otherwise
open to the public, is not in and of itself, illegal.

More like the other way around.

On the Las Vegas chat boards, it's occasionally been
brought up that the clubs will go out of their way to
cater to attractive female regulars. Comp food, drink
on the house, and who knows what else.

It's also known that some clubs have paid (hired)
celebrities to show up, going rate is well into five
figures. Sounds like a lot, but very cost effective
when the word gets out that so-and-so was "sighted" at
your club!

Uh-huh, the bottom line is the bottom line! :) :)

Guido can't inspect the private parts! I'm sure that
if a TG fitting the profile of who they want would be
admitted without question.

The problem for the DLV people is that very few,
myself included, fit that profile.
