First of all, what browser are you using, and do you like it other than maybe for some privacy concerns?

Instead of being concerned with a browser giving away secrets, I might suggest that you set up a separate user account for your kids, or even an account of his/her own for each of them. Then you can do what you want in your own user space, including surfing, bookmarks, and ...

If you have all guest users use an account other than yours, you can use the browser's password manager feature without having to worry about another user logging in to a site as you.
If you are looking for a browser (I assume you are using a Windows PC here) that gives you a good degree of privacy, I would suggest something like Firefox with the NoScript and Adblock Plus add-ons. Then set the "Do Not Track" option and disallow third-party cookies. Firefox will allow you to save passwords and it will not leak stored passwords between users.
