Canadians and Brits?

Hi Gang.
I am an ex brit and a very long time Canadian.

If there are any Canadians or British ladies attending this year please jot down a short note Here and say who you are and where you are from, also where you will be staying too if you like. I have been in attendance with several over the years that I have been doing The Big Show only to realize later that we had passed like ships in the night a few times without ever knowing it. I also have a Flickr account so anyone who might recognize my name please feel free to say Hi any time during the DLV week and we can take a piccy or two for posterity. I assure you I am not half as scary as I look!

I am Katie of Katies Koffee Korner fame ( A minor event which had it's meager beginnings last year and hopefully will become a D L V staple in years to come ) so if you like to get up early and relax with friends over a coffee or two whilst on vacation then that would be as good a place as any to be at 7AM ! .As of now this will be held at Betty's Cyber Cafe in the Quad /Old Imperial Palace which is just a short hop through the Monorail access ramp from Harrahs.
Of course this is not restricted to colonials or ex pat's *Wink* and if you read the discussion pages you will find that everyone who wishes to rise from deep DLV slumber land early is invited.

I'm from England though I've been in the states so long that I might turn American any day now. I'm not sure where I am staying this year. I usually stay at the Imperial Palace but will probably switch to Harrah's while the construction continues.

Maybe I could make it to an early morning coffee, but it will probably be because I haven't gone to bed yet.

... ( You're gonna love the Artisan )..It's not what you would call exciting but it sure has nice decor and a bit of olde world atmosphere for those who like that kind of stuff.. = **Like me for example **
