You know, if you do the pole dancing lessons anytime before Wednesday
night, you could probably demonstrate on the pole at the Erotic Heritage
Museum. I'm sure we could get music if you needed it. What do you think?

They don't allow dancing on the pole at EHM,because it isn't built strong enough for that! But if the after hour party at Hustler happens with at least 25 people( the min.that the vip club will open for)in attendance, you can pole dance all you want.

I've have gone for a spin at the EHM, but it is more for photographs. If I am to dance at the Hustler I better start practicing a routine now :)

Thanks Bev for pointing out the coupon, that is a lot easier than looking for a groupon. I will update everyone once I've talked to all the studios.

That sounds fun! Although I can imagine the injuries will pile up as the class proceeds through the hour

Maybe I can just show up and observe the young uns do their thing. *lol*.
Maybe that is not so bad a suggestion, Could anyone who is a local ask the
establishment if that would be ok?

Katie.

Perhaps they should tie the girls to the poles for their own safety ;-)

After contacting the studios I have decided to go with the Pole Fitness Studio (http://www.polefitnessstudio.com). I have a reservation for a party of 16 for Thursday, April 18th at 2pm. The cost is $35 per person + tips for the instructor. As long as we have 15 students then we won't need Bev's coupon (though it is nice to have). The staff seems friendly (at least over the phone) and are welcoming of all ages and gender-identities. It is our private party we can do whatever we want.

The studio would allow us to invite other people to come even if they are not planning to dance. I am a little reluctant to open the class up too much - most students will not be used to having an audience. For signup it will be 1 pole = 1 girl. At the same time this is supposed to be a party so I will try and accomodate everyone. At the very least, we should bring in some drinks. If you have any questions, feel free to send me a message.

For those girls in Los Angeles, Groupon currently has a deal for Allure Pole Dancing (http://www.alluredancestudio.com/). I've visited their Pico location for a private party and had a really good instructor. This deal allows you to get packages of 5 or 10 classes for less than $50. Deal lasts till 3/28/13.
