Badlands Closing

It seems surreal that Badlands is closing on 11/1/2012....It is hard for me to see it go. but those that considered it their second home.....I was sure that it was Rapheal's intention to keep it going and it did for awhile after he died...but like everything else MONEY TALKS.......

Now that 2 bars in the area closed do you think the Garage Bar on Flamingo has anything to do with this?
Where will the locals go now?

On the east side of town..Goodtimes, The Garage, Spotlight, Eagle...LV Lounge may not be a good place to go, but it is open, The Fruit Loop....Gipsy, Free Zone(I've heard some good things about FZ lately), Buffalo, 91/2, Piranha. Plenty of places to go, but I WILL miss Badlands and Crews'n.

I thought the spotlight closed down. When we were there for DLV some one said it was going to open again. How long ago did it open and if so is it as fresh and clean like the garage?

Spotlight re-opened 10/11. I have not been there yet, but a friend tells me that the drink prices are a bit higher. There is no stage, therefore no entertainment. but it is a lot cleaner.
I think Raphael passing away had more to do with Badlands closing. I don't the the Garage impacts anyone's business cept, maybe Goodtimes. Richard Villa's variety show that was at Crews'n on Sat. nite is now at the Eagle.
