best wishes,

What's so bad about a boy who wants to wear a dress?

Pretty much describes how I would have wanted to live my early life.

Makes me wonder - if all of us were allowed to dress as these kids -
would we be someplace different today?

How many would have decided estrogen hormone treatments at a
pre-adolescent age and/or SRS surgery and make the permanent change?
Research wasn't at the level as today is too. Becoming and wearing
clothes of the opposite gender was considered a serious mental illness.

For some could prescription 'vitamin' tablets we took as kids were
actually testosterone pills to correct any hormone imbalance as a short
term solution to push the male side?

American society today is quite different from the days when we at their
age. Also different were our parents attitude to this type of behavior,
as in less accepting it or just not allowing this to even happen. Many
moms wore A-line outfits, and dads wore white dress shirts, khaki pants,
pen pocket holders and a tie, before the sexual revolution and
rock-n-roll. A kids roll was well defined as either a girl or boy based
on the physical organs.

FYI

For firearms enthusiasts... and those being in LV at that time, and want
something to do on that weekend, maybe this can be a incentive to go to
LV
..

Crossroads of the West Gun Show will be in LV on Oct 20-21 at Cashman
Center. I've found it to be a good size gun show - has more than
firearms - knives, accessories, holsters, ammunition, etc. They had
concealed carry handbags and pouches, costume jewelry, and even some as
seen on TV vendors, tee shirts. Maybe it could be a time to stock up
for the next DLV shooting activity.

Hi Kumi,

Great idea I wish I could go! The Las Vegas show is really good.

Be careful if you are from Calif, the Calif Dept of Justice has been
known to follow buyers to their car and get licence plates to harass
them on the way home, so keep it legal.
