I apologize but I am new to the TG community. I am just wonering about other Events. I really want to attend one.DLV looks like a Hoot. I plan on going to the next DLV Event but I really want to get out and Meet others. Thanks for Your patience. Jaymi.

I wanted to verify that you are on the list for Pinkfest, the informal
vacation, not a convention, happening in Chicago 10-14 this fall? If not
then go to http://www.pinkmyst.com/pinkfest/. It's usually a small
gathering, but can be lots of fun! Be sure and read the FAQ's at
http://www.pinkmyst.com/cgi-bin/afaq.cgi?c=3D/pm/pinkfest/faq.

We are a vacation, not convention and there is no registration fee;
attendees pay the establishments where we are going for their admission
if any, drinks, and meals. We select a number of places to see, events
to do, and places to drink and eat. Sometimes you will have to make your
own reservation in advance as in going to a play or other performance.
Sometimes we just ask that you RSPV so we will know how many to reserve
for. Sometimes its just show up if you want to. For most expensive
events there is a lesser expensive or no cost event. You can always just
do something on your own like go window shopping if you don't want to be
with the group. There is no event hotel and out of towners stay all over
the city depending on their location preferences and budget. Diva Las
Vegas is similar to this, but many more people come to DLV.
