Pinkfest 2012 dates ...

If possible, I think it would be a good idea to have Pinkfest 2012
dates solid so they can be announced and promoted during DLV this
year.

I would like to toss out two sets of dates for consideration.

1. Wednesday, October 17 thru Sunday, October 21.

2. Wednesday, October 24 thru Sunday, October 28.

Any preference for either of the above timeframes?

FYI: The revived Fall Harvest will be held Nov 8-10 in Kansas City. Not
sure how that affects Pinkfest but it might help to hold it earlier, as
in Oct 17-21, as there may be some gals wanting to attend both and
needing some space between them. I doubt I could attend both if they are
only 2 weeks apart, so that would force me to chose.

I suggest you not have pinkfest in that sh*t hole called chicago. New
orleans would be a far better city than that sh*t hole. Either date
would be fine as long as it is not in a shithole called chicago. If it
is to be a sh*t hole called chicago count me out.

Let's ask this question ...

Is there anyone who would absolutely positively not be able to attend Pinkfest if it were October 17 - 21 but absolutely would attend if it were another time?

Historically we've not had too many who have wished to attend both Pinkfest and Fanfair, and I believe we have conflicted on dates in the past.

Let's throw out a third set of dates here. How about October 10 - 14?

Any comments about that timeframe?

Pinkfest actually started in 2001 because Fall Harvest was called off. While we've never had any issue conflicting with Fanfair, due to the geographic proximity we may have an issue if we get too close to Fall Harvest.

Is Fall Harvest really happening this year? The last I peeked at the web site, it was very vague and had broken links and such.

I should have noted that Oct 10 -14 works best for me . Oct 17-21 will
also work, but not as well.
