Annie I have not been to Chicago in a few years and I would like to get
a really high quality wig for the Pinkfest on Wednesday before the
Chicago Chop House. Do you know the name(s) of a good wig store to go
to. Thanks for your help.

Hi Cathy,

There are several vendors in the Chicago area who sell wigs and who are very
supportive of T-girls.

Transformations by Rori http://www.transformationsbyrori.com/ and
Rachel's Wigs http://www.wigsbyrachel.com/ have large selections. Janna
at Janna's Studio is very nice and sells wigs too.

Where are you staying? You might want to start off at the closest one.

If you're at the Omni, the closest/quickest to get to would be Rachel's.

If you're driving, straight north on Michigan to north on Lake Shore Drive. Take Lake Shore to Irving Park. West just past Ravenswood, under the tracks, and a few doors west on your left.

If you're on foot, walk west to State Street, north two blocks to Chicago Ave and take the Red Line subway north. Get off at Belmont and transfer (free) to the Brown Line north. Get off at Irving Park and walk west. Rachel's will be on your left.
