Fairly serious restroom incident at Cosmopolitan ...

Is Cosmo the one that has the main entrance, I think, that is several
floors from the ground, and has what looks like waterfalls along side of
the main circular entrance - along the side of the building - or was
that another building in that big complex? I know there was also one
circular entrance in the back near the back entrance bridge to the
Bellagio that looked much more plain. That one was also much closer to
their buffet area than walking to it from the front. The buffet did
look good too. I didn't try it yet... the menu did show lobster tails
for that day.

Hmmm... maybe add Cosmo buffet lunch or dinner to the list?

Has anyone tried it yet?

"That Big Complex" you speak of is most likely City Center, of which Cosmopolitan is not part.

Cosmopolitan is long and narrow, very vertical, and is between Bellagio and City Center. It's shoehorned around and dwarfs the Jockey Club.

A good photo of the Cosmopolitan appears here:

I travel to and from Vegas almost weekly in the winter and have NO
problems anywhere. This story about the Cosmo sounds full of details
that are TOO full of drama.

http://thestrippodcast.blogspot.com/2011/04/what-if-cosmo-transgender-thing-is-hoax.html has more investigative questions applied to this situation

I do admit that the report of the incident, and the prior report, which was echoed in the first person right here back in January, do sound somewhat sensationalized.

You may never have had issues. I've never had issues. However, I know individuals who have been involved in multiple restroom issues and incidents in Las Vegas over the years. Some have been asked to leave the property. One had what might be considered a 'gestapo-like" response.

I did read the referred item. While there may be some valid talking points, I don't think we can dismiss the Cosmopolitan incident (nor the Hard Rock incident) as a complete hoax. There are some facts that cannot be fabricated, due to the responses attributed to the Cosmopolitan staff.

We know that the person was "trespassed", since if the trespass slip were in question, Cosmo's responses would have certainly indicated.

We also know that the trespass order was rescinded, as per Cosmo's response.

The item referred to above implied that neither Metro PD nor HR Security had dogs. I do remember that Hard Rock Casino did take on K9 resources. I can probably provide a cite if anyone wants it. Ditto for Metro PD. I know they have a K9 unit.

I'm not saying that there isn't a "rest of the story" here, but I don't think this qualifies as a hoax.

Drop at the doors the farthest from the bar and walk thru the entire
casino, en mass, to the bar. Have one limo driver on call and he can
park on the street with the rest and bring them all in together with one
call.

Do our people understand what an apology is? Why do some of our girls always want to make things worse by purposely antagonizing & testing? The management of the Cosmopolitan has apologized. Why not just accept it and move on. Sorry Katherine, whether you're being facetious or not, GET OVER IT! It happened & it will happen again somewhere else & we hope they will offer an apology too.
