Fairly serious restroom incident at Cosmopolitan ...

Good for the net cops!

This is a little off topic - Today in most places the cops are always
around or they have you on camera. In most places it's not even safe to
scratch!

My bet is the Cosmo hotel cops reacted to something that was egregious
to the hotel. It might have been a misunderstanding, but I've always
taught that in most circumstances it is best to avoid all appearances
of evil.

I wonder how the victim was dressed and acting?

I'm getting ready to go shopping tonight here in Atlanta before I fly
off tomorrow morning and if and when and if I need to go to the
bathroom I'm going to do it as unobtrusively as I can. My shopping is
going to be conducted in the same way. I'm probably still amazed that
every time I go shopping and need to try things on the clerks always
direct me to the ladies fitting rooms and in there I really am on my
P's and Q's. (Is that term something everyone understands or a
colloquialism?) Regardless, I love those discount stores like TJ Maxx
that have unisex dressing rooms because it takes the pressure off!

Back on topic - I like the picture you have up and keep looking for that
Annie to reappear someday!

The photo of the bearded tranny that appears in the bottom of the
vegasmesssageboard.com is this the person named Stepahnie who got banned for
life from the Cosmo hotel in Vegas?

Highly unlikely.

I'm very sure that it was just some smart@$$ who posted that photo to try to be funny.

And, the ban has been lifted, Cosmo has apologized.

I'm very sure that there is a "rest of the story" here.

What we do know is that it happened during the NAB convention, one of the largest conventions in LV, during the wee hours of the morning, and that restroom misuse was the excuse/reason for the 86.

We also know that casino security will almost never bother a customer of any type unless there is a particular reason to do so.

My guess is that security and the casino staff were watching things very closely that week, made a very quick judgment call and ended up busting an innocent person.

There is one other factor that was not mentioned in the flurry of items posted yesterday, one topic which comes up occasionally on the LV chat boards, and is backed with a certain amount of anecdotal evidence.

There is evidence to suggest a certain degree of selective enforcement by casinos' security regarding hookers who "work" the bars in the casinos, particularly in the more upscale places. The gist is that the younger and more attractive of the working girls are often left alone to do their thing, and that the older hookers who are starting to look rough around the edges are 86'ed using whatever excuse or reason the security staff can find to get rid of them, which can be a challenge since they aren't doing anything wrong before they actually start coming on to a john.

> I wonder how the victim was dressed and acting?

We'll probably never know. The time, place, and circumstance of the incident -- wee hours during a large convention, casino bar, woman alone, that's probably just the pattern that the security goons were looking for. If the victim happened to be anything other than a cute slim twentybopper (or maybe someone TG in any form) that's just the type of working girl that they want to get rid of.

My guess is that the casino staff/security suspected the victim of "working", and used the restroom situation as the excuse/reason for the 86.

Of course they ended up with a lot of egg on their face and had to choke down a rather large slice of humble pie when they realized that they busted a convention-goer who just happened to be TG instead of a tranny hooker.

Wow !! Cosmo actually gave you an apology for it; that's significant.

P.S. I hope we can keep all the pics of me on the photo page; I look
at them every night before I go to sleep and again in the morning when I
wake up, and about another 12 times during the day. "I'm so vain - La
La La - La La -La La La La La - La ...... "

This pattern looks all too familiar, not the ban issue, and not the
severity of the ban, but restroom issue. I wonder if there was another
incident or incidents before this happened involving another CDer using
the women's restroom and somebody - a guest or gg female filed a
complaint to the management about a male CDer using that female
restroom, causing the security to be more on the edge and on the
lookout. This Stephaie was in the wrong place at the wrong time.

Maybe it didn't have to deal with her being suspect of being a hooker at
the bar. If that incident did occur and since its another separate
incident, would Cosmo have no obligation to include it in this incident
to keep things private?

Actually, we considered this.

The problem is that there's no grand entrance at the Cosmopolitan, and no place to stage and park 7 limos.
