Can somebody please suggest a hotel that is in or around or close to
Boys Town? Something that is clean and safe if that exists?

Just took advantage of the DLV rates at St. Tropez. They are waiting
for us! But to me it looks like Alexis Park is a nicer place.

Which is preferred?

We really should take advantage of the Diva Discount at St. Tropez
even if it's not as new or nice! Hope to see you all there!

For clean and safe and right in the heart of Boystown, that would be
City Suites. Right on Belmont between Sheffield and Halsted.

Any travel agent or on-line service will book it for you.

That's the good news.

The bad news is that it won't be cheap this late in the game and it
often sells out on weekends.

There are a few hotels (I think one is a BW) on Broadway a few blocks
north of Belmont.

Also, IIRC, there's a Days Inn around Clark and Diversey, which is
about 6 blocks south of Boystown.

For something less expensive, there is (was?) a Super 8 up by Loyola
about a block off the lake. This should be reasonable assuming there
isn't something big going on at Loyola this next weekend.

I've booked my room at the Red Roof for Wed through Sunday. I will be
taking the train to Chicago so will not have my car. It appears the
transit passes are a real bargin. If there is going to be a get to
gether wed night let me know. I will be bringing my wheel chair or
scooter with me so getting around on foot wont be an issue.
