Paying for Frank Marino tickets

Postby Bev » Tue Mar 22, 2011 11:19 pm

If you wish to get VIP group reserved seats from me, there are two options available to you... if you wish to pay by credit card then payment must be made through PayPal by March 25th as I am not equipped to handle credit cards any other way... if you wish to pay by cash then I need a firm commitment to pay me at DLV no later than Monday night of DLV (April 4th) since I have to pay for the tickets out of my pocket by then. That commitment to purchase tickets means you will pay me even if you don't use the tickets and there are no refunds available.
I guess I could make another option of payment by cashier’s check that I would get by Monday, March 28th so it could be deposited and cleared before I leave for Las Vegas. If you wish to do that, send the check to [Warren Byerly, PO Box 11232, Cedar Rapids IA 52410]. Please email me letting me know you are intending to pay by check so I can be looking for it.
Payment to Paypal (it really is very easy to set up an account using a credit card and very safe for both parties) should be made to my account at msbevw@hotmail.com for $62.
I will only be able to accept cash at DLV as I will not have access to any kind of credit card payment there. This is true of most all DLV activities this year, not just my show.
Your other option if you are arriving later than Monday April 4th or if you want to pay by credit card without setting up a paypal account is to obtain your own tickets for the show through the various ticket outlets.
It should be made clear that just because you “signed up” on the DLV sign-up page for attending the Frank Marino show does NOT mean you have a reserved VIP seat. You must order your ticket from me to sit with the group in the VIP reserved ticket area. To reserve your seat you must let me know by committing to one of two payment options: either payment by credit card through PayPal before the deadline of 5:00pm on March 25th or promising cash payment will be made to me at the Monday night opening celebration. The promise is a firm commitment to pay whether you use the ticket or not. There are no refunds available. I must have the commitment emailed to me no later than 5:00PM Friday, March 25th.
If I have not heard from you by the deadline I will assume that you are getting your own tickets and I will not hold a ticket for you. If you have not contacted me do not come up to me the night of the show asking for a ticket as none will be available.
I am not trying to make this difficult. In fact I thought that these were the best and most generous options I could offer without putting myself in a financial risk. I hope this information helps.
As a courtesy, please send a reply email to me so I know your intentions. When contacting or sending payment to me please include your DLV registration name so I know who you are. Receiving payment under “John Smith” or an email from “abc123@aol.com” does not help me know who the payment is for.
Thank you,
Beverly

I don't have a Paypal account, but I've used Paypal for both E-bay purchases and on-line merchants using their one-time payment option without opening an account. All you really need is a Visa or MC credit card. I think Danielle is accepting payment this way for High Tea.

I just received a check for payment for a ticket to the Frank Marino show. The check was under a business name and there is no information included as to who the ticket is for. I am not sure how I am suppose to know who you are.
So if you have recently sent me a check please contact me with the name of the business listed on the check and who is suppose to get the ticket.
Please, when sending payment by PayPal or by check include information with it as to who it is for (femme name) or send me an email telling me to expect it and who it is from.
Thanks,
Bev

Once we've paid you for them (which I did yesterday), Where do we pick-up the tickets? Will they be serving food... or just drinks & cocktails?

Rita

P.S. My PayPal payment would have come from Synergy Marketing... but the registrant information and address was contained in the payment information... so I hope your above posting about the business check... was not directed at me.
