Robyn,

I'm sorry you can't make it on the tour. If you had a reservation with
the Neon Museum would you let them know as well? That will allow them
to move down their waiting list and we don't end up leaving someone
standing at the gate with a "borrowed" reservation the Museum won't
honor.

follows. Tried not to over book as I'm new and not sure about timing
and dressing between events. You are welcome to ride to any joint

DLV will also be my first time out in public. I think our schedules are every similar, other than I am a little nervous about attending the PT dinner as this is a mainstream venue. I will see if I have the nerve and confidence to attend, but it is nice knowing I won't be the only first timer there if I attend. I look forward to meeting you.

I am staying at the Artisan and will attend events on Sun and Mon.

It's wonderful to see so many first-timers! Las Vegas is a wonderful place to have your first outing because it's pretty hard to stand out as being remarkable against the backdrop of general excess. The real battle isn't about finding the right look, it's about finding the right attitude. You belong there. You have as much right as anyone to stand tall and enjoy yourselves. Getting past the early jitters and relaxing into the experience takes a little time, but I don't think there's anyone who wasn't anxious initially so you're far from alone. Take a few deep breaths, smile, and enjoy.

My first [i]real[/i] public experience was at Diva Las Vegas four years ago, and spending an entire week en femme was an incredibly important part of my personal growth. I'm sorry I won't be there this year to swap stories with those of you who are experiencing it for the first time.
