In LV tonight at Firefly, consensus between cashiers, pit bosses, managers, that the renovations that are being done now will not be complete until end of Aug. They are introducing 7 new restaurants, and at this time Firefly is not one of them. According to two employees, when they came to work one day Firefly was gone with no good buy.
Annie if I was a betting person. I would bet that the Firefly won't be hosting our meet and greet at this location.
I hope someone proves me wrong.

Unfortunately we are aware of this. Up until recently we were assured that Firefly would be open for us, but now we are being told that it is not the case.

If there's any good news here, it's that it happened four weeks out from the big event instead of four days out. In our history we've had closures and renegations at much shorter notice and we've always been able to work around them.

Our volunteers are currently considering several options, three of which appear to be viable. Discussions are ongoing with frequent mailings. We'll definitely have a large Meet And Greet on Monday, but unfortunately it will not be at Firefly.

It appear that this will be delaying activity sign-up. We'll have a general mailing going out later this weekend which explains the situation.
