Newbie wanting to see Frank Marino show

Postby Cami desiree » Wed Feb 23, 2011 6:18 pm

So I recently registered to come and to say I'm excited is a complete understatement. I am so looking forward to meeting some other girls and to be enfemme for the week.
I've always wated to see the Frank Marino show and can certainly understand that many of you have already seen it and therefore don't have it on the schedule. I'm sure other "newbies" might want to see it or already have plans to, so can someone point me in the right direction or if you want to go let me know.

The only reason it's not on the schedule (yet) is that nobody has volunteered to host(ess) it this year.

If you (or anybody listening) will volunteer to do so, we can get it on the schedule.

The clock is ticking, however, and we have about a week left for any additional "sign-up" activities, so if you or anyone wants to host(ess) it, please speak now or ...

Hi Cami,
Get ready to have a blast at DLV! You are in for the time of your life.
I would also like to see the Frank Marino show. I saw it over 15 years ago so it would be great to see it now. The show is at 10:00 Sunday thru Thursday so it would make a great late night entertainment venue which would allow us to enjoy cocktails and dinner then head to the show without being rushed (maybe even time for a change of clothes).
Ok, Annie, here goes... if we could put the Frank Marino show on the schedule for Wednesday night I would be willing to be the hostess for it, as far as being a contact point at the Imperial Palace and seeing about getting tickets together. This would have to be a "sign up" event, possibly with payment needed before the day of show. I will check into that if this becomes a go. Tickets are advertised as $39-$79 range, but I believe there are coupons as well as "Tix4Tonight" tickets available.

Thanks, Bev. :)

We'll continue the planning over in ORG.

Since you made a firm commitment, we can consider it to be a done deal unless something totally unforeseen occurs.

Thanks, Bev.
BTW What does "Hosting" involve?

My understanding that 'hosting' means standing around the venue and allowing the other attendees to buy you drinks. I could be wrong about that and am sure someone will correct me if I am.

Hi Katie,
Your assistance will be greatly welcomed for hostessing this event. I arrive on Sunday and am staying at the Imperial Palace. I look forward to seeing you at DLV.
(Wait a minute... you aren't offering to help just to get the free drinks are you?)
