first meeting place?

Hello all, this is my first trip to Diva( very very excited by the way)
Anyway, I maybe missed it somewhere..but is there a specific place where
we meet to sign in or register for this event when we first arrive?

Unlike most other TG events, there is no central check-in desk.

How and where you first meet the group mainly depends on when you will be arriving.

The Large Final Mailing, sent out the week before DLV, will note all of the various activities where check-in is available, and it will have contact phone numbers in case you need help or have trouble locating the group.

Check-in will be available at most of the major activities on Sunday and Monday, the daily lunch all days, several other major activities, and may even be available at a special "Pre-DLV" gathering on Saturday.

Hi Francine,
Do you know where you are staying yet? There is a chance of meeting several other attendees at the hotel if you are staying at one of the suggested hotels. I know that there is probably not going to be an official hotel hostess program this you, but I think that there is a good chance that an unofficial hotel gathering may take place at some of them.
I am staying at the Imperial Palace. Hope to have a chance to meet you at DLV.

Annie,

May I suggest that for all newcomers to DLV, and perhaps some old timers too,
that an explanation of the code designations that are at the end of the
activity descriptions. You know the ones I'm talking about. Like "ms" 'sv".
etc. That might help.

Hi,

First time attendee (just Registered!). I arrive at 10AM Wed and am
staying at the Imperial place. I would like to attend the lunch with
Ginger on Wed afternoon. How can I find out details about where that
is? Also have same question about the begiiner event at 3 that
afternoon.

Alos does anyone know how the Imperail Palace is in regards to early
check. I won't be traveling as Diane,hoping to be able to check in/get
room whne I arrive so have a place to change prior to the lunch with
Ginger.

Information about both of these, in great detail, will be sent out with the Large Final Mailing the week prior to DLV.

It's hit and miss. I've checked in to the IP as early as 9:00am. They will likely not be full that Tuesday night and Wednesday is one of their slower check-in days, so there's a good chance that there will be rooms available prior to the posted check-in time.
