If you're posting from MyDLV, it's very easy to edit the subject when doing a reply or a quoted reply. There's a very similar option on the Yahoo side. Most e-mail clients allow this as well, with varying degrees of ease.

This will, depending on circumstances, trigger a thread split on some systems and will affect the "group by" on Yahoo and similar systems.

Of course you can always start a new thread on any topic you like. I know the users on some systems will jump on a user for starting a new thread instead of adding to an existing one, but here it's entirely up to you. :)

Annie,

Thanks - I was unfamiliar with MyDLV, I assume it is reached through the
registration link. I tried it, however it would not connect - I will try
again later.

So far as the hotel discussion, I'm fine with an open thread - Sara's
comment about the MGM Grand was helpful. For me, I really am looking for
the best deal as it relates to price, where others are staying, and the
quality of the hotel. I had stayed at the IP, however it was a long time
ago, I believe in '98, so it may have slid downhill since then. As I am
planning to be there six nights (Sun-Sat) I'd like to keep the price
reasonable, but it doesn't have to be the lowest rate in town. I would
say that the $89 rate Sara mentioned at the Grand would be towards my
upper end, but anything $100 or under per night is fine. However, if I
can book the same quality room, with reasonable access, for less, so
much the better - I have no particular hotl/casino brand loyalty. Any
additional thoughts would be most appreciated. I would like to reserve a
room fairly soon (say within a week or so). I've only been to Las Vegas
once in the past half dozen years, and have lost touch with the best
places to stay.

Thanks for your help,

Delaney
