DLV 2006 dates are final:

Our one month "Call For Comments" on our proposed DLV 2006 dates has
just expired. No objections were received.

Therefore the timeframe of Sunday, April 23 thru Saturday, April 29 for
DLV 2006 may be considered final.

Re-registration for DLV 2006 will open shortly after the first of the
year, 2006.

The next few months will be the "slow season" for activity looking
toward DLV 2006. One or more monthly mailings may be skipped in the
months to come if there's nothing significant to report. The next major
item on the plate is the suggested hotels, which will be announced
around the first of December.

Las Vegas get-together in September:

Details are not known as of this time. If you would like to attend,
please e-mail dlv@geekbabe.com and request the final information. This
will most likely happen either Friday, September 23 or Saturday,
September 24.

This will be nothing fancy, just dinner and drinks in one of the
popular local places.

Pinkfest update:

Pinkfest 2005, another "Vacation, not convention" is scheduled for
Thursday, October 20 thru Sunday, October 23.

This happens in Chicago, and Pinkfest is now in its fifth year!

Like DLV, Pinkfest has a variety of activities in both mainstream and
alternative venues.

Another feature for this year's Pinkfest will be the daily Lunch With
(or without) Ginger. Yes, that's the same Ginger that hostessed the
daily Lunch With(out) Ginger at DLV!
