Welcome to newcomers. There's still time to get in on most everything.

If you want to participate in DLV 2006, please register as soon as

The Little Girl Meet-n-greet is an informal session for those who plan
to go to the Little Girl get-together on Wednesday. The Meet-n-greet
will happen at our Welcome Celebration on Monday. If you want to
participate in the Little Girl Get-Together but will not be in town
on Monday evening, write to dlv@geekbabe.com and we will put you in
touch with Sarona, the coordinator of that activity.

This is something best done individually. No, there are no plans to do
it as an organized activity. If you want to do this, I suggest you do
not do it in a group. Groups of any size will attract attention and will
invalidate the results of the exercise. Just pick a partner and go to
some place some morning or afternoon, preferably some place where
DLV people are not obviously present.

This has been done in the past at DLV. Last I know of was over at the
Desert Passage Mall.

Activity sign-up:

We are starting our DLV 2006 activity sign-up process this Monday.

Everybody who currently holds a validated DLV 2006 registration will
receive a special activity sign-up e-mail on this coming Monday.

IF YOU DON'T RECEIVE THIS WITHIN A REASONABLE LENGTH OF TIME, such as by
Tuesday morning or so, SOMETHING IS WRONG AND WE NEED TO KNOW ABOUT IT.

If this should happen (or actually, does not happen) please send in a
brief e-mail to dlv@geekbabe.com and explain that you have not received
your sign-up mailing yet.

This e-mail will contain a clickable link to your personal activity
sign-up screen. Please open this e-mail and either click on the link
if your mail software supports it, or carefully copy or cut-paste it
into your browser.

Activity sign-up serves two very important functions:

1. It gives you a convenient method of signing up for any and all of our
optional activities all at once with no hassle.

2. It reconfirms your intent to attend DLV.

On the sign-up screen will be additional details, any costs involved,
how to pay, and any additional requirements or hoop jumps you have to
do in order to participate in that particular activity.
