Welcome:

Welcome to newcomers! We've had about 30 list joins since the last
general mailing. We're looking forward to seeing you in person with
us next April.

Any questions or concerns, please let us know. Just reply to this

DLV 2007 dates are final:

No significant objections to our proposed dates were received during our
call for comments period.

Therefore the timeframe of Monday, April 23 thru Saturday, April 28,
2007 may be considered final.

Now would be a great time to book your flights.

Also, Nora will be the coordinator of the Big Sisters. For those of you
who may be a bit shy, or for perhaps a first time attendee who wishes to
know more about DLV and Las Vegas, the Big Sister program is a wonderful
help.

Things to come:

The next general DLV mailing will be sent out around the first of
December, 2006.

Suggested hotels for DLV 2007 will be announced at that time. We will
have the roomshare option available again this year, to those who wish
to participate and save a few $$.

Re-registration for DLV 2007 will open shortly after the first of the
year, 2006. Pre-registration for newcomers who are on this list will
be announced at that time.

Diva Las Vegas Golf Tournament 2007:

The question of whether the golf tournament format should be changed to
a scramble, four-ball (best ball), or just keep it the current medal
play format. For all of you who wish to participate in the DLV Golf
Tournament, we'd like to hear your comments.

Pinkfest update:

Pinkfest 2006, another "Vacation, not convention" is scheduled for
Thursday, October 12 thru Sunday, October 15.

This happens in Chicago, and Pinkfest is now in its sixth year!

Like DLV, Pinkfest has a variety of activities in both mainstream and
alternative venues.

Another feature for this year's Pinkfest will be the daily Lunch With
(or without) Ginger. Yes, that's the same Ginger that hostessed the
daily Lunch With(out) Ginger at DLV!
