Welcome to those who just joined the list. Please let us know if you
have any questions or concerns. We're looking forward to seeing you in
person this April.

There was no general mailing last week. Mailings will occur every 1-2
weeks as needed until around April 1.

Who will be 100?

As of this date, we have 95 validated registrations. That magic number
of 100 is what everybody always holds their breath for. It will happen
very shortly, about two weeks earlier than it did in 2005 and about
three weeks earlier than it did in 2006.

As far as total turnout this year, it's still far too early to say, but
signs are pointing to the 130-150 range. As always, you will never see
the entire DLV group in any one place at any one time.

Newcomer registration opens:

DLV 2007 registration for newcomers who are members of this mailing list
is now open. If you are reading this from an e-mail addressed to you,
this includes you.

Two very important notes about registration:

1. When you register, you will receive a validation e-mail.

IN THE EVENT THAT YOU DO NOT RECEIVE THE VALIDATION E-MAIL:

If this does occur, we need to know about it. (Yes, I'm shouting. Each
year we have 1-2 who don't get this and don't report it for ages.) If
you receive nothing, write to dlv@geekbabe.com and explain the
circumstances.

2. When you get this validation e-mail, please read it and follow
the instructions and respond as indicated. You will need to read it
carefully to do this. If you just reply, or reply with something like
"I received this" or "yes, I will be there", it clearly shows that
you did not read it. Please read it, it's good for you. :)

If there are any concerns or difficulties with registration, please
let us know.

Golf updates:

All is set for this years DLV Invitational.

We will be playing Wed April 25th with our usual 9 am tee time. Please
plan to arrive no later the 8:30. We have a cap of 36 players this
year. Price will be $42 per player which includes greens fees, cart,
practice range and lunch discount. As in the past it will be stroke
play. Each player should bring a prize as there will be a blind draw
for prizes.

Payment needs to be made directly to the golf course by Wed April 18th
unless you arrange a day of payment with me in advance. You can pay by
credit card over the phone by calling (702) 431-4653. Cashier check or
money order can be mailed to:

Make sure you let them know you are paying for the Diva Las Vegas
Invitational and give them your fem name for golf card assignment.

Send me (Mindy Russell, address below) an e-mail when you are
registered. If you have anyone you would prefer to be paired with
please let me know in advance.

Golf club rental is available for $25.00. Please let them know you wish
to rent clubs at the time you make your reservation. I have 2 sets of
clubs to loan. One ladies set and one mens set, both right handed.
earliest dated e-mail request gets the use of them.

Dress code and rules are the same as past years and should still be
listed on the golf discussion list.

Correction - Golf date:

Unfortunately the wrong date for golf has been appearing in some various
pages and mailings. This had come from an older outdated working copy of
our schedule.

The correct date for golf is Wednesday, April 25. Please disregard any
previously published dates.

Always refer to the latest copy of our schedule for any dates and times,
which will be updated as the schedule takes shape. It will appear in
each general mailing from now on.

Glamour Boutique Open House:

Once again, Glamour Boutique will host an Open House on Friday
afternoon of DLV week.

Glamour Boutique has been an enthusiastic supporter of DLV ever
since they opened their Las Vegas store.

The Open House will feature refreshments and munchies as well as
some announced and unannounced specials for DLV attendees.
