Shopping..Did anyone else buy anything?

Hi.

As there seems to be a deal of interest and discussion on Next Years
Shopping Expedition and the purchases and flaunting thereof. *lol* and a
Grin! Way to go girls, That's the spirit!

I thought it might be nice to see what we all bought this time around?
DLV Follow us is such a nice way to wind down from such a great time
away from our regular routine don't you think?

I bought a nice suit from Savers I think it was and with the 20%
discount for seniors it came to only $17.95. I loved the jacket and top
and the color was just right and had Me written all over it I
think,*lol*, unfortunately the skirt was way too long for my tastes.=
Ankle length, I tried it on in my hotel room, hitched the skirt up to
knee length and took a piccie to see how successful my purchase had
been, I was quite pleased with what I had bought and have since had the
skirt altered to my preferred length.

If it is ok with Annie and whoever does the follow up piccie section I
would like to try a "What did you buy"? section in the final posting in
August. (( Just a suggestion and only if there are enough pics of a
purchases to make it worth while.))- I do realize that Shopping trips
traditionally only have 5 or 6 people in attendance as I sponsored one
at Primm a few years back and we only had 8 people show up, So unless
someone is a shopaholic it might not be worth even thinking about, There
were only 6 ladies and one guy who attended the shopping trip this year
and it likely won't be enough to fill a pic section of it's own but it
gives us some sort of an idea if this sort of thing will fly for next
year.

What are your thoughts Girls?

Katie, I like your idea. You've got my vote. I bought an Afro wig at the
Attic this year. I saw it and thought it would make a nice addition to
my wig collection. Well, I tried it on and I instantly felt like Pam
Grier's Foxy Brown. So I bought it. Probably would have been passed up
by many of you, but I thought it fit my personality...Wild &
Crazy....LOL!!!! - Rosada

If we have a level of participation which is suitable to
create a meaningful page, we can sure have a "What did you
buy?" page on the final DLV 2010 follow-up pages.

I would say that if we have participation from at least 5
people, with a total of 10 photos, it would be worth the
effort to create and present.

Photos could either be sent in separately from the main Call
For Photos, or a note sent in giving the specific photos in
the staging areas which are to be included.
