Katie,

I think this has some potential and would be willing to help.
I think we could do it all in a day. Plan the day so the gals
could go in small groups then get together later in the day
for either coffee or maybe drinks or maybe dinner and celebrate
the finds of the day.

I think we are heading in the right direction Gabi.

An extended shopping day getting together in the late afternoon for
drinks. / Tea. / Coffee or a light lunch or early supper to give us some
nice easy socialize time would be great, Make up permitting of course!
and the need to freshen up a bit too I would think.

I know we will chat further on developing this into a plan.***lol***

Hugs. Katie.

I absolutely luv the treasure hunt shopping idea JoAnn. It's so much
more fun being out and about when you have an actual goal to occupy your
mind. And doing it with a friend would work great. No large groups
causing a scene. I would set the bar at $50 or less to maybe open up
more options as to where to shop. Better brand stores running deep
discounts are a fabulous find.

That's the the beauty of DLV...you don't have to do a darn thing if you
don't want to. Just register and you are in control of which activities
you want to participate in. Isn't wonderful?

If you two are thinking of doing the shopping tour thingy next
year, Rosada has a real idea here - a chance to model your best
new stuff that you just bought, or maybe something you had flown
in from Paris - and a great photo-op too; Katie, you know you
can'tpass that up :) this has some real potential. I could see
it taking place out by the pool in the late afternoon or maybe
evening - "Divas Under the Stars". Give us some feedback, you two,
and tell us what you think.

A nice thought Cynthia but where would we change our clothes?

I feel good about this and want to do all I can to make it a good day
out for any level of confidence and competence. Gabi and I will run with
the ball if you would like us to, but anyone else please feel free to
toss in a remark or two to improve the flow.

I think the "Show and Tell" would be a neat idea but I can't think of a
casino which could accommodate this "After Shopping Dress and Show
Event". I am using Casino's as a crutch to lean on here as they are so
nice and helpful whereas a restaurant or lounge/Bar in town may not be
so hospitable towards us flaunting our purchases and having fun. [And
Casino's like our money so they will simply let us do our thing, smile
and take it.

A nice idea might be for someone who has a larger rented unit with a
patio or balcony who would consider inviting us in to do our changing
and photoing there. -Any Takers?

If done with the pity party and done at the Escape there is a large
unused (over the last few years anyway) kitchen area we used in the
past as a changing room for the drag show.
