A couple restroom testimonials ...

This the last part of my post which got cut off.

I would recommend anyone going out into mainstream anywhere to be
prepared mentaly for any pitfall that could be lurking out there. If you
haven't taken these consideration you will probably find yourself in a
devestating situation. The DLV organizers aren't here to be a bunch of
fairy god divas to protect us from Vegas, protect Vegas from us, protect
us from each other or protect us from ourselves. It's a big girl world
and we have to be responsible women that are ready to take it on. For
all the men in dresses... please stay in your closet.

Luv you all

I don't think it's fair to be that critical of Robyin, she's
only stating what she knows. California is more liberal than
Nevada; the two state's laws are different, based on different
economies, based on different legislation, based on the
different needs of the people, based on different thinking,
so forth and so on.

The first chapter of the Nevada Statutes concerns Gaming Law,
and nothing else. Here, gaming and tourism come first; we
don't grow lettuce or make movies. Coming out in Cali. has
got to be a different experience than coming out in Nevada.

If I were to visit Cali., which I will someday, I know I
would be aware of the social differences there. If I tried
to be the tawdry flooze I play here, in Cali., people would
probably look at me and ask me why I'm acting so 'phony'.
If I did it in say Iowa, I'd probably be arrested.:)

Here, the "tawdry flooze" gets me in and out of the ladies
rooms with minimum hassle. Understanding and toleration are
what keep us "solid", and solidarity is out strength.

Sindee Honey is right; this whole thing is overblown, and
everyone of you need to be back here next year. My
respectability is riding on it. :)

Regards, Cynthia

Using the restroom as a place to socialize and fraternize is what young
high school girls do. Gee, you'd think we're sooo past that by now! When
you do that, it's like you're saying to others, "oh look at me
everybody, I'm a girl (but really a guy in a dress) and I'm using the
ladies restroom!" If you're going to use the GG's facilities, get in
there quickly, do your business, and get out quickly, and be as discreet
as possible while you're at it. Save the rest of us the grief from your
inconsideration and "it's all about me and F&%# the rest of you"
attitude!" If this describes you, then you don't belong in DLV!...

I'd like to apologize to all my fellow DLV Lady friends for my bluntness
in the comments about the bathroom incident. If I hurt anybody's
feelings or came across as cold and uncaring about the journey some of
you are on in your transition, or that I was mocking any of you, believe
me that is not the case.

I just felt so bad for the gal who had the embarrassing bathroom
incident that brought her to tears. I just wanted to hug her and give
her my support, and I was so angry at that other person that I lashed
out at her in this manner. -

Hi Rosada,

No apology needed from your side. I totally agree with what
you wrote.

All of us, though we try very hard, cannot predict the results of
our behavior 100% of the time. All of us are NOT perfect.

I am one of them. The person saying or doing something may
not have a clue to what they had done. For example
I did one on the disc not too long ago.

Sometimes it takes friends that care to tell us, or being told by
others that are trying help, to make that person aware of the
problems that are being created by their actions, based on
experience.

Sometimes it takes blunt or more colorful adjectives to get
the point into someone's stubborn thick or
hollow head so that they 'wake-up' or finally understand what
advice is being told to them. At times I am like that too.

Those that listens, understands and changes their behavior,
becomes a better person, and I would think gains more in
respect in the eyes of their friends and others.

Unfortunately sometimes and for some people this doesn't
work and the result is others getting hurt because of what they
do.

But this time these people know very well what they
are creating for they were told about it. They disagree
on what advice was given, or have refused to change,
so the resulting hurt done to innocent people because of
them, shows that they want that kind of hurt to happen to
others.
