A few clarifications ...

Just a few notes and housekeeping items here, regarding the
proposed Ending Formal and such ...

1. We're not voting. This is a survey, not a vote.

What we're most interested in is a "Yes" or "No" regarding
whether you would or would not attend the proposed Ending
Formal, considering everything, theme, proposed menu,
price point, etc.

Comments are always appreciated, and the comments which are
most helpful at this time are comments clarifying why you
would or would not attend.

What we need is enough information to make some important
"command decisions" regarding one of our larger activities
for DLV 2010.

2. Alternative suggestions are welcome, but to keep the
topic and discussion in order, we're holding these and
forwarding them to ORG after the survey responses have
come it.

3. If you feel a bit overwhelmed by the number of
messages which are coming in, please hold off on any
"unsubscribes", as this "rush" of messages is only
expected to take a day or so. There is the option
on both the Geekbabe side and Yahoo side to switch
to a digest format, but it probably will not be
necessary as the volume of messages is expected to
diminish shortly.

4. There have been many responses. Any response
which contains a YES or NO, or some discussion
on why someone will or will not attend should have
appeared in the Discussion Forum and associated
Yahoo group. If you don't see your response here,
please let us know.
