Hi
It appears, while the concept is good and you have great success, your
lacking alot of direction and formatting. It seems there is alot of
incoveniences, outline issues previous attendees have had. In order for
it to really become very successful, you need guidance in how to plan
such an event. It may be a "vacation" but it needs polishing and whether
you like it or not, it has to be planned as if a convention. Your
holding a vacation, so actuallity, your a tour operator, even if your
not responsible for all the activities, accomodations etc etc.
The "vacation" would be so terrific if you negiotated room rates at 2-4
hotels/motels for the attendees. Arranged through the hotels free or
reduced rate transportation to events. Arrange a pre-paid service for
selected activities. Arranged in advance more organized and friendly
establishments to accomodate the attendees. I have experience in this
field. Not only be a flight attendant for more than 30 yrs but I worked
parttime for 12 yrs as a group co-ordinator for a tour company. Its a
lot of hard work but the reward of a successful group gathering is worth
it. You can be negiotating some great deals besides rates and extras
with a little effort. I would love to do it for the group. I am in
Arizona currently and wont be relocating back to vegas till next year.
It would give me a thrill to work again in that field and my old
contacts. I know it be working free but it would gratifiying to help the
community. I know the attendees would not mind paying a small xervice
fee for information, direction and assistance in this "vacation". Who
doesnt like the help of a professional travel agent!
