Tentative Diva Las Vegas 2010 dates announced ...

The DLVORG group has tentatively selected the timeframe of
Sunday, April 18 thru Friday, April 23 for Diva Las Vegas 2010.

A one-month "Call For Comments" period is now open and will
conclude on Tuesday, September 8, 2009.

You may comment on the proposed timeframe by simply replying
to this message or e-mailing to: dlvdisc@geekbabe.com

Comments in private may be made via e-mail to: dlv@geekbabe.com

The proposed timeframe was a clear favorite of the DLVORG group
and no objections of any significance to this particular week
were brought up.

If no significant objections are heard by September 8, this
timeframe (April 18 - 23) will become final.

PLEASE DO NOT MAKE ANY NON-REFUNDABLE ARRANGEMENTS
BEFORE THESE DATES ARE ANNOUNCED AS FINAL.

Hi

We do not like the dates as the prices will be higher in april as it is
still the summer vacation for most.The ones wse know can not make it in
april as they can not schedule their vacation time

Works for me...It will be tight as I'll just be getting back from

For you or anyone concerned about prices, we did our due
dilligence prior to setting these dates.

The only week in April with high room rates is the week just
before DLV, which is the week of the NAB convention, which we
did not consider.

As of the time we checked, the Imperial Palace was running
$40-ish for the DLV dates ($35-ish for the "Capri" rooms),
Flamingo was $50-ish and Paris was $110-ish.

One other thing with the DLV 2010 dates is that with a
Sunday check-in and a Saturday check-out, it allows one
to do the entire six-day DLV on weekday room rates.
