I hate myself for just finding you. It's just too close to the event to
join yal this year but I have already started getting myself together
for 2010. I cannot help but feel overwhelmed with joy to finally find a
perfect fit for my next steps as I continue to grow & undertsand how I
fit into this world.

I have spent some time with all you have provided for us on the Site &
via Yahoo but cannot seem to find any sort of "Calendar of Events" so to
speak.

I am just curious as to what I can plan on doing, formally, with the
Group. Dinners; Shows;Tours and such if any.

I am also curious as to how the Big Sister suggestion works. I will be
44 soon and though not really relevant would like to potentially find a
Big Sister that kind of knows the ropes and around my age. It would
truly make me feel more at ease this first trip.

I am anxious to meet you and thank you for providing such a joyful,
respectable & relaxed atmosphere for us all.

From our perspective, anyway, there's still plenty of time to get in on
things for this year. It's still 4 weeks out. If it's possible to adjust
your schedule, we would love to have you.

The Big Sister program is where we match those who need some help and
support with those who can give them a hand. Big Sisters help out both
before DLV via e-mail and in person during DLV. When you sign up for a
Big Sister, you can specify a number of things, including approximate
age, to help our Big Sister Coordinator make a best-fit match between
you and your Big Sister.

The Large Final Mailing, sent to all registered attendees,
will have the final detailed schedule, which includes such
things as activity locations, map, contact phone numbers,
and all kinds of other information.

In addition, this year we'll have a "pretty printed" final
schedule, available both electronically prior to DLv , and
in hard copy when you check in to DLV.
