Movie night for DLV

I have just come across the first real preview of the new Star Trek
movie that is opening May 8th and I was figuring that if we lock in a
specific night or something like that we can go to a late movie (if
people do not mind paying full price) to see what seams to be a really
cool movie.

This sounds like fun. According to some websites it is still scheduled
for release on May 8th. A little far by South Pointe Casino has a
theatre built into the casino. Maybe a lunch or dinner can be planned
and attend the movie afterwards? I kind of miss the Star Trek The
Experience which closed late 2008 (September, I think). I was hoping to
have a picture taken in the Captain's chair on the bridge al dressed up.

You may still have that chance. There were negotiations going on to
move the STE to the Neonopolis attraction east end of the Fremont
Street Experience. Projections were to have the venue open about the
same time as the May 8, 2009 release of the Paramount Pictures
movie "STAR TREK".
