We here in the "Deep South" live with late Spring and Summer
temperatures as high or higher than Las Vegas and we all know
their "dry" heat is cooler! (Ducking for cover!)

Seriously, the only precaution needed for high temperatures,
and especially in a dry climate, is to drink lots of water!

It really truly is. At last count, I had accumulated something like 27 full
weeks of travel time spent on consulting assignments in Phoenix between 1995
and 2005, with frequent side trips to Vegas (in addition to DLV). I would
choose desert Southwest summers over Houston and Austin summers anytime.

P.S. Better the "Deep South" than the "Deep Six". :-)

Thanks,

Tina
