Going to the movies is similar to going to a production show.
If one doesn't eat or drink snacks, and went to the restroom right
before going into the theater, then one may not need to go after. There
isn't a 2 drink minimum like some production shows have. Some movies are
as short as 90 minutes, and some up to 3hrs.
If one does eat and drink, expect to stand in line with the other gals
to use rest room. Some theaters have family restrooms, but most are
used anyway and there is a line. Also too, the theater rest rooms may
not be as clean as the ones in casinos.
Yes, when a popular movie gets out, there are lines at both men's and
women's, like a production show. BUT there are alot MORE teens and kids
of all ages also, and some may just be bored or looking to start
something nasty with our group. A definite main stream event, with very
few rest rooms to use, unless one goes outside of the theater.
Don't forget stadium seating. In the theater, before and after the
movie starts, voices do travel. If one talks, everyone around besides
munching on pop corn will know. Add to that steps in the dark while
wearing heels, carrying your purse, drink and snacks, then scooting
around peoples knees to get to a seat and maybe having to talk to them
to move, or sit where ever its the easiest, and possibly of walking on
sticky floors and sitting on dirty seats.
As a going femme to movie, I can see the event happening. But we are in
LV. There are so many other things to do and spend a afternoon or
evening that one can't do elsewhere.
Just my opinion, but I'd rather watch a show than watch a movie. I can
watch a movie back home. The only draw would be to do it femme.
