Most people carpool.

Some go as far as to hire a limo for the trip.

We once had somebody drive a hearse for the occasion.

>I wonder if I offer to drive would it increase my chances of

Volunteering to drive will be appreciated, but won't get you
head of line privileges, sorry.

As long as you don't delay in doing your activity sign-up,
you should be fine. NSD will probably fill to capacity, but
from history, it will not fill immediately.

Hey Denise, you better not wear your habit at FreeZone
swinging a ruler! :-)

I just had to say that! :-)

hmmm... or maybe you should? :-) :-)

Renting a limo to and from NSD is a good alternative.
Since there is the limo driver, everyone in the limo can
enjoy the ride and conversation, and/or liquid refreshment
they bring to and from NSD (like another limo tour).

Going to the CR in the late afternoon, one gets to see the
desert, but coming back, its basically pitch black till you
get closer to LV. Its a safer alternative if one wants to
have several drinks at the CR bar.

The limo driver (like cab drivers) knows very well where to
go, and probably has done the trip many times. The designated
driver may not, and may need to pay attention to the distance
and where to turn, and watch traffic while driving...etc.

The designated driver if carpooling by car has to remain a
bit sober (not have a drink at the CR or very few drinks)
to be able to safely drive others back to LV, and has to pay
attention to the road to and from NSD. So the driver
may not have as much fun, getting into the conversations,
or relaxed and comfortable, as if she was riding.

If one and gets 4-6 people going to NDS to share the cost
and tip of renting a 6 person limo, it isn't too expensive
per person for a limo for the whole NSD, and could be
well worth the individual cost.

The only drawback or problem, and the same goes with
carpooling, is when one person decides to take in the
services of one (or more) of the beautiful women at the
CR, that the attendee had a nice conversation with in
the CR bar.

You probably saw Trantasia, which was in 2004 at the Rivera. It
took place when Jahna Steele was alive.

5:00pm.

We're under some pressure to really start on time this
year, having received complaints about too much
stand-around time last year, so we can assume close to
an on-time start this year.

All very good points. I would be better off jumping in a limo and
splitting the cost several ways. It's well worth the price! I hope
to successfully register for this event. I see an afternoon
departure time. Roughly, what time would that be?

Thanks again for the info!

I assume the meeting place would be announced at a prior event,
or would it be in the main schedule? What has been the average
cost per passenger?

The assembly location will be announced in the final schedule
sent in the Large Final Mailing. It will also be on the map
coming with the LFM.

> What has been the average cost per passenger?

IIRC, a shared limo has been $60-ish or so per person.

Be sure to get the limos with the seats running down the sides, so
we're not playing footsie with each other.
