There's one by the door in case the security guards start chasing you.

Nikki,

Please remember that DLV is a Vacation and not
a Convention.

Its sounds like you are looking for certain features
that is more associated with a convention, such
as special rates and reserved sections, line ups,
assigned seating, etc. Many conventions ask for
a registration fee to help pay for those special
features like reserved sections and special rates.
DLV doesn't have this.

DLV isn't located in one place, nor does it use a
single hotel for its activities. However we use
registration as a tool that is different from conventions.

We use it to helps us know how many people and who
to expect to be there, and for some public venues, its
helps them prepare for that number of people. All of
this has been brought up by Gina and Aiko.

Since DLV is a vacation, we go to many public
mainstream places, basically like a tourist in LV,
enjoying our vacation and doing vacation type things.

Most DLV events is too small of a group to gain special
privileges at the major casino hotels and restaurants, so we
cannot get special rates either.

Thought the dates are set, we have people coming and
leaving LV everyday during DLV, some stay for the
whole DLV and others less. Its a changing group of people
coming and going on different days, and registration
trys to keep track of everyone. This is different from
conventions where one is expected to arrive and leave on
the same days.

If you are looking for a more structured event, then maybe
a convention type event may be what you are looking for.

I stayed at the Sahara last year. They teated me like any other
customer. No special treatment and no bad treatment either. I would
say I was treatd as any other customer. I drove in "dressed" and spent
the entire time the same.
