Activity highlight - Charles Bar ...

This week we feature the Charles Bar.

If you can imagine the character named Booger from the film
"Revenge Of The Nerds" asking about it, he would say "Just what
the {f-bomb} is the Charles Bar?"

That question, in those very same terms, has been asked many
times over the years as our people look over the DLV schedule. :)

To answer ...

Well, it's a bar.

And it has a bartender named Charles.

So that's why we call it the Charles Bar!

Seriously, what we call the Charles Bar is one of the smaller
bars at the Bellagio. Over the years, Charles has befriended
the group and we've made this an ongoing activity.

Yes, the time on the schedule is correct. We start at 2:00am
in the wee hours of the morning.

It's not very crowded then, and it's an excellent time to
relax in a very upscale environment where, yes, you can dress
to the nines and not be out of place.

It's very mainstream, but as we said, it's not crowded at
those hours, so it's very "safe" for beginners.

It's also a great place to people-watch! :)

Some have had difficulty locating the Charles Bar in the
Bellagio. Don't worry, in the Large Final Mailing we'll
have a link to a Bellagio floor map with the Charles Bar
clearly marked.

Dress: Nice casual at minimum, please. This is a very classy
place. Dressy, very dressy, even formal will be fine. It's
hard to overdress for the Charles Bar! Flashy is fine, trashy
or slutty is not. No costumes or fetish attire, please. Many
of our people wear what they wore to the Limo Tour and show
the evening before.

Charles Bar is no sign-up, just show up.

I doubt if there will be check-in at the Charles Bar, but
if you're not checked in yet, it's ok to come anyway.
