Cosmetic Sugery in a 3rd World Country ? Think Again !

Don't be fooled by advertisements attempting to lure you in with offers
of cheap cosmetic surgery.

In November I visited Buenos Aires, Argentina after I fell for
the advertisement. After paying over $21,000 I received would
could best decribed as a hack job. During the surgery I lost a
lot of blood. The surgeon evidently had severed a vein and could
not control the bleeding in which I had aspirated blood into my
lungs. To top it off the surgeon decides to make a 2 inch cut under
my chin to explore for the cut vein. Becuase of this, I developed a
severe infection that could not be controlled.

I literallty was in a fight for my life making it back to the
United States so that I could get proper treatment. Now I face
more surgery to repair the stupid panic mistakes that the surgeon
made on my face. I was also to have breast enhancements and had
paid up front. But they refuse to refund the $3,000 they owe me.

PLEASE - If you were considering surgery or know of anyone who is
thinking about surgery in Buenos Aires ? Contact me for the complete
story.

First of all, I hope you're ok! It's scary when this
happens to someone you know! Hopefully you will be
able to find a competent practitioner here in the
States to do the corrections.

Yes, you get what you pay for, but in actuality,
you're one of the lucky ones who survived, returned to
the States, and are now able to have the damage
corrected.

There are all kinds of horror stories of cut-rate
cosmetic procedures and cut-rate SRS which left people
disabled, disfigured, or dead! Just google "butcher
brown" for some absolutely harrowing examples!

The thing that astounds me is how many people, in this
day and age, go for the on-the-cheap silicone
injections for breast enhancement. This still goes on
despite the fact that the complication rate is close
to 100%! (Google "pumping party" for some equally
hideous stories.)

I think the best thing we can do is spread the word
that things like this do happen, and will continue to
happen as long as people want to save $$$ on surgery. :(

Cosmetic Sugery in a 3rd World Country?

I've been told that Thailand is supposed to be really good as a
third world country for SRS surgery.

National Geographic on their 'Taboo' series on gender issues
always shows a segment on surgery in Thailand. The hospitals
are supposed to be very modern, and the doctors very trained and
experienced with SRS and it is quite routine and frequent, because
they have a good percentage of MTF changes done to their own
citizens and many on males from other counties that flock to
thailand for this type of surgery... National Geographic said
many come from Japan and the US.

They have alot of male thai citizens on hormone treatments from
when they are pre-adolecent (from around the age of 5)
specifically to eventually become females with SRS. They usually
come from poverty level families, to be either sold or given to
the sex trade they have in that country. Some Ka-toys or what
they call MTF bar girls and prostitutes that they show look quite
convincing as females... even the non-srs ones... they wear string
bikinis and it looks like nothing is 'down' there. National
Geographic usually shows the episode of a well known male thai
kick boxer that became a female, and two people from the US, and
eunics (sp?) in India.

The currency (bot) is low compared to the dollar so the value is
there, so surgeries are more affordable.

Are there nightmare stories about thailand too?
