Rio Carnival sky parade

Every day at the Rio there are several Carnival Sky Parades at different
times from 3:00 to about 9:30 PM. For $12.95 you can ride on one of
these "sky floats" wave at the adoring masses below and toss trinkets to
them so they can remember being in your presence. Is this something a
group would like to do during DLV next April?

Hi.

Great idea Sarah, I think that might be a good one
for us.

Just a side note here but I just returned from Vegas
last week. I Purchased a coupon book from a web site
called "The LV Advisor" before I went. (2 for one
deals on Hotels, Meals, Shows, Car rentals and
Discounts at Casino's and gift stores) It was well
worth the price and worked out very nicely for me and
will likely work for anyone else who might want to
save a bunch when in Vegas.

Hope this helps someone out there in DLV land.

Kate.

Bally's Jubilee Backstage Tour.

Hi.

Would anyone be interested in doing a Bally's Jubilee
show Backstage tour During DLV 08? I think it would
be a nice venue for us.

Getting a glimpse of showgirl life would be something
some of us might like to see.

Kate.

How about "That would be bitchen! (Holly, we used to use this in
junior high. If you used it also, then we might be about the same
age. Just two old "broads" having fun.)

Hugs,

Rosada and Holly,

I'm going to try to get to Vegas in January to check out the Rio and the
Sky parade. If either of you live locally and want to do a little
legwork it would be nice to know if we can get a group discount, how far
in advance we could get tickets or if we could get "senior" discounts
for those of us who are a little high on miles, maybe a little extra
upholstery but still have a lot left in the tank.

For anyone else interested, when would be a good day and time for this?
Would it fit in on Wednesday evening after EON maybe? I've already got
the Art tour (part's 1 and 2) that day, may as well do something for the
evening too!

Is this something that should move over to the org list for a bit more
input before we go any farther.

This is an excellent idea. It would definitely be a good opportunity to
get a really large group together prior to either eating out night on
Wednesday or the Friday night options.

Sarah,

I 'm not a local Las Vegas gal. But I can certainly give you a hand
from here in Tucson if need be. Just let me know what I can do.
