I had a great time for three days in Las Vegas. I really enjoyed
the fact that you had scheduled group lunches and dinners at the various
casinos. The chicken ranch trip was a lot of fun and I got a chance to
really got to know a few people, while traveling to and from Las Vegas.
The showgirls of magic was also very entertaining and very helpful, even
though I arrived late. The slumber party was great and it was fun doing
things that I missed out, not being of the other gender.

I also decided to go and do a few things on my own. So, I went to
the Liberace Museum and wound up being on a tour with about 30 people
and seeing some expensive costume outfits (Over $750,000) and race cars
and pianos. There was even a piano performer who played who was just as
good as Liberace.

I also went to the Titanic museum and they gave me a ticket which
had a bio of an individual who was on the ship. It was like boarding the
ship and the stories and the artifacts were incredible. While I was at
the Titanic museum, a security officer tapped me on the back and I
thought, "Oh no, I have been read and he is going to kick me out of the
museum." However, he said to me, "Ma'am, please don't lean on the glass
because it sets off an alarm." So, I apologized and continued looking
at the various artifacts.

I even had to use the womens bathroom at several casinos, but I had
no problems with the staff and other customers.

There is a few lessons learned from this trip. I didn't write down
the last names of the group leaders nor their phone numbers, so I
couldn't contact anyone when I arrived. I didn't know where Zingers was
located and I missed the Valley of Fire trip (my room wasn't ready until
departure time, anyway, but I could have gone male mode.)

Fortunately, I had someone drive me by Zingers on my way back to the
Sahara hotel from the slumber party. So, I walked the 3/4 mile from
Sahara's to Zingers, which was very friendly and helpful to us, but
after waiting an hour with six other people, no one came by to pick us
up for the Lake Mead boat trip.

Anyway, I had a great time--perfect weather--and I am looking forward
to go back next year.

Afternoon,

Due to a scheduling glitch, I could not be in two places at once.

I was the coordinator for the group of 10 (4) who went to Boulder beach
prior to the Cruise and the Cruise itself. Although we had a SMALL
turnout for the cruise, the one employee said that she remembered our
group from last year.

I'm glad you had a good time.

I had to severly curtail my time at DLV due to a family member
recovering from an Accident.

Hope to see you next year on the water of Lake Mead.....
