Dressing for Pinkfest (was Re: More information)

I find sweater dresses to be an easy choice. Casual enough for day.
Dressy enough for evening. If you're buying online, the stretch makes
for an easier fit. Texture and patterns obscure. Dark colors minimize.
Diagonal patterns add shape.

Choose a neckline and sleeve length that feminizes you best. Don't go
too short unless you're planning to pair with leggings. Shapewear
underneath will make a huge difference. Shoes you can walk in. High
heels look great but better to choose a lower chunky heel if needed to
walk well. Putting the outfit together is the fun part. Have fun with
it.

Do you have any pictures of any previous shows that I can see what women
would wear? I don't have alot of female clothes. What about heel height

Not really sure what you mean by "shows" in that context.

I'm gonna suggest looking over this URL. The page is about 10 years old, but it discusses dress for various circumstances and activities.

It depends.

Just keep in mind that in Chicago, you will be doing at least a modest amount of walking at minimum, so keep that in mind.

I think what I was trying to ask is if you have any pictures of what
people wore for the thing so I can see what kind of clothes that I
should get or and bring? Since I have never left the house in girls
clothes. I don't want to be under or over dressed.

It's a collection of Pinkfest photos over the years. It shows typical outfits being worn.

The general rule of thumb would be to wear what's typical of any Chicago visitor. In the daytime, casual with few exceptions. In the evening, non-grungy casual to dressy. We've run into a few places that have a sometimes-enforced "business casual at minimum" dress code.

If I can add. When you are at a casual dining restaurant, Olive Garden,
Ruby Tuesday, O'Charley's, Bahama Breeze, Bennigan's, Bob Evans,
California Pizza Kitchen, Cheesecake Factory, Claim Jumper, Legal
Seafood, PF Chang, Bubba Gump Shrimp Company, Claim Jumper, McCormick &
Schmick's, Morton's, and the like, look around and see what women your
age are wearing.

That will be as dressy as we pretty much ever get. Some activities,
maybe most, will be more appropriate for dressing down, think t-tops and
pants or skirt or even shorts of appropriate length.

We also do lot of walking and riding on public transportation so wear
comfortable shoes.

If you want to wear high heels think about maybe wearing flats and
carrying a big purse with your heels in it, discretely changing after
your arrival where you want to wear them
