RSVPs, Q&A, etc. ...

Everyone who sent in a RSVP message by early Monday morning should have now received the final Pinkfest information. If you RSVPd and did not receive this, please let us know.

Here are a couple of answers to questions received in the RSVPs:

1. The Ann Sathers we will be using is the one on Belmont. The address, map, etc. all appear in the final information.

2. No, a comedy performance does not currently appear on the schedule. If someone wants to volunteer to coordinate it, it can be added, of course.

Another item, which I know affects a few of our people (as in ME). Southwest Airlines is having some major systems issues which may or may not be fixed soon. Our in-house TAs have sent out a note suggesting that anyone flying Southwest should be at airports 2 1/2 hours prior to flight time and to expect long lines and delays.

It's the one "under the bridge" on (or rather under) Michigan.

If anyone has any questions about where something is occurring, it's all in great detail on the final detailed schedule.

While it never made it to the official schedule, I've proposed the 10:00pm ComedySportz on Saturday night a couple of times. It is right at the (literal) southern end of Boystown, just a half block west of Ann Sathers on Belmont.

I plan to attend and there have been a couple of others who have expressed interest. I'm still willing to buy group tickets with cash reimbursement due at the event. If you're a no-show you'll still be expected to ante up.

At 2:30am Ticketmaster won't show me tickets... I'm hoping that's because of overnight maintenance rather than a sold out performance.

I have record of Bev and Laura expressing interest in ComedySportz. I'll be calling this evening to check on ticket availability. Not purchasing yet, but let me know if (the collective) you do want me to include you in a group purchase.

I know this is late, but the absolute best thing to do if you want to know for sure where the group is, is to phone or text to one of the contact numbers. These were sent to everyone who responded in affirmative to the RSVPs.
