I think it is the same club I was at several years ago. Good place if it
is. One thing for sure. DO NOT speed in Melrose Park at all. Not even 5
over. Otherwise it is just fine there.

Well, the address (2125 N. 15th Ave) would put it somewhat southwest of Janna's old place on Fullerton, which would be 2400 north, just east of 1st. Avenue. It would probably involve a taxi ride from the River Grove station, that is unless you really like to walk!

Looking more it says: BYOB Bring Your Own Bottle No Solicitation-No Cameras-No Cell Phones, which implies no liquor license. I may vote to pass on this one. Still, if the gang wants to do it I'll probably go along.

I also have a sneaky feeling that this one may not be around that long.

Ok, curiosity got me. I pulled up the Google street view. I can see the "Adult Bookstore" sign. From what you say it's probably a low-rent wannabe Power Exchange type of thing.

It looks like a warehouse district. I'll pass. Thanks for the further info.

Oh, that place? I've heard about it. Never been: no interest.

They've had problems and issues with the law. Voyeurs, swingers, hookups
hangout, apparently. Pass.

(And, though there is a bus route somewhat nearby, it really isn't
terribly accessible, either. It's basically in an industrial district.)

Instead, if we wanted to do something at least marginally suburban
(other than Oak Park, of course,) I'd recommend Rosemont, with nice
restaurants, entertainment, shopping, and a comedy club. More
mainstream, of course. Maybe it would attract some local ladies who
would prefer not to head all the way downtown. Right off the L (with
a local shuttle bus) and the expressway.

Pace bus on North Ave from either Oak Park or Forest Park would actually
get you the closest. But it would involve a bit of a walk, about a
quarter mile or so.

The place has been around a few years. Probably isn't going anywhere.
Not sure about the particular event. Though there were some sort of
occasional events at a hotel a couple of miles from there, too. Perhaps
these supplanted those?
