> Thanks for posting the menu. Looks good! I can't wait to eat there again.
I'm looking forward to this too.
I know this is not the official Activity Highlight, but I'll add a few things.
First, to answer one off-line concern, even though this is within the same complex, this is NOT the restaurant we used last year, and NO, there will be no comedian this year!
The venue, Trevi, is one that we've been using regularly for mid-size dining affairs for over a decade and we've yet to have any issues. It's classy and elegant, and affordable. We've used it several times for the pre-dinner prior to big dress-up evening activities such as the Limo Tour and higher-end production shows. The cuisine is a good mix of traditional and contemporary Italian fare.
You can also expect some very nice surprises at the ending festivities!
The area we will have is open and overlooks the Fountain Of The Gods at Caesars. It's a great place to people-watch if you've never eaten there before. It's also been reported as very comfortable for those who may be a bit shy of mainstream public exposure. We're also planning to do a second "Official Group Photo" by the fountain later in the evening.
I would like to make two specific call-outs to two of our volunteers who have put forth their efforts and their own funds to make our final evening happen.
First is to Laura, who is taking the lead on this final evening. Laura has been active with us since 2007 and has been an active volunteer since 2008. She's coordinated a number of dining activities at Trevi in the past so she is well acquainted with the property and the staff.
Second is to Cami, who has been instrumental in coordinating a number of our larger gatherings over the past few years. Cami holds the current record for the best-attended DLV activity of all time!
Please join me in thanking Laura, Cami, and the other DLV volunteers for their efforts in making the week to come as great as it will be!
