Rumor Hotel Bar/Lounge

Hi gals! My last 3 Vegas trips I've included one evening to relax and visit with others at the bar/lounge inside Rumor - a very cute boutique hotel, east off the strip on Harmon, just before you get to Paradise Road, right across the street from Hard Rock Hotel. Nice neuvo decor, low lights, and fits well with "dressy" outfits on a Thurs, Fri, Sat night. I've gone with 1-2 other gals (TG and GG) and enjoyed talking, laughs, a few drinks and snacks, and we ALWAYS meet and talk with other gals and guys, all very open minded that I'm TG and friendly to me in every way.
Anyone else been there? Any others like to meet there sometime during DLV week? Thanks, -Cathy

Rumor is the old San Tropez, which had special rates for DLVers once a number of years back.

It was bought and renovated by the Siegel group, the same people who run the Artisan, which we've used off and on for some of our major gatherings. (Although with a lot of complaints for high drink prices the last time!)

The Siegel properties do tend to be LGBT-friendly.

Hard to get a cab there when your leaving. They don't stop there.

Actually, the only place in that area where taxis normally stage is Hard Rock. It's a very easy walk from about anything in the area.

I am sure if you store the Whitlesea cabs local telephone number somewhere handy then call them from Rumor when you are almost ready to leave then they will arrive withing 5 minutes. Business is business and they Do come when called!
If you forget to store the number, just grab a business card from any cab driver waiting outside any of the hotels and keep it within reach.
Not a tough fix huh? *lol*.
