I will be staying at the Flam too but I will not be taking up space in the reduced rate room list as I have a previous arrangement. so that will be 26 Ladies in attendance to have a morning coffee with....and the odd Late night drinky poo or two also.

My, this group has impressed me! We have half of the Flamingo special rate rooms booked already... and it's only the first of January. At this rate the block of 25 rooms will be gone long before the February 1st deadline. And that means many of you may be out of luck in getting a room at this very attractive rate.
So if you haven't booked your Flamingo room yet then you had better do it fast or the rooms will be gone! And once that block of rooms is gone so is the special group rate!!
I still haven't gotten my airline reservations as I am hoping the rates will drop some. But I did get my room booked because I know I will not find a better deal anywhere. What are you waiting for???

Is there any feedback from those who have booked rooms at Flamingo on how the process went? I am hopeful that it was an easy endeavor for you as it was for me. So how about sharing how the process went for you with those who have not booked their room yet.

It was easy. I did get bumped around reaching group sales, but it wasn't
that big a deal. I called at an off hour (I think it was about 11PM), so
that may have been part of it. No real issues or concerns.

Thanks to everyone who has booked a room at Flamingo under our special rate block. I haven't gotten the numbers yet for this week but as of last week we were almost full, especially mid-week. I am sure that we will be filled up by the time I get the numbers this week.
Thanks for the fast response and taking advantage of this great rate. I am sorry for those who waited and may not get in on our deal. I have been watching the rates in town and they are not dropping that week at all. And some places, like Casino Royale, have even gone higher.
Can't wait to see you in Las Vegas and especially at Flamingo. We are going to have so much fun!

The numbers are in!!! Nice job gang. The DLV2015 block of rooms are just about filled. Only a couple of rooms remain Wednesday and Thursday at the special rate and I expect those to be filled by the end of this week.
The early part (Sunday-Tuesday) and latter part (Friday & Saturday) still have a few rooms left. The Flamingo is extending the deadline until February 15th to fill those remaining rooms. So you can still get into the Flamingo while rooms in our block remain at the $65 rate for most of the week but may need to pay a higher rate for Wednesday and Thursday evenings. (However, there may be a chance that they will give you the special rate if you book your room for the week quickly. This is not guaranteed!)
So don't wait. Book now to take advantage of this special deal.

We did it! All of the rooms in our block at Flamingo have been filled. Thanks to everyone who got their registration in quickly and took advantage of the great price. There is going to be a nice group of DLVers staying at Flamingo during the week so i know we will have a good time taking over the hotel and casino. I hope they are ready for us.
Between the morning Katie's Koffee Klutch and afternoon cocktail gathering I feel there is a good chance that we will other get to meet up sometime during the week.

This is the first time in our soon-to-be 19 year history that we've received a meaningful group discount at a major Las Vegas Strip resort!

This discount will make the trip more affordable for many, and will free up quite a few $$$ to be used on making DLV a more-enjoyed experience.

Throughout our history we've been teased several times with offers of "special group rates" which turned out to be rates that could easily be beaten with a cold call or a few mouse clicks.

We did have a couple of bona fide discount rates at some smaller off-Strip places (thanks again Nora and Cynthia) but this is the first time at one of the popular Strip resorts.

Thanks to all who took advantage of this offer. We're looking forward to seeing you (and those of you staying elsewhere, of course) next month!

Hopefully this will be repeated and possibly expanded for next year.

I screwed up seriously and didn't let my internet non user friend Crissy

discounted rate?
