It's probably best to just meet at the venue (Arts Factory Bistro). I'm really not sure where I will be before. I may be doing a power nap or playing in any of various casinos.

I did promise to be at the Bistro on time, so nobody will have that awkward position of arriving and finding nobody there. If I'm early I'll just wander about the Arts Factory for a while.

Thanks for planning on being at the Bistro early annie.I should get there about 6ish.Early arrivers can visit some of the gallerys at the Arts Factory and Art Square(by the parking lot). The Mingo Kitchen by Art Square can be checked out too with there 5-7pm HH prices, but Bar+Bistro doesn't have HH prices on Saturdays.Should we call in the suggested reservation?Do we have an idea on numbers yet?

This afternoon I decided to try to find the Bar+Bistro plus parking, as I didn't want to be searching for it on Saturday. I hope the following directions will be helpful to some:

It is located on the NW corner of Charleston and Art Way. If you're traveling west on Charleston, after you pass Casino Center Blvd., the next light is Art Way, where you turn right. (The turn is not the usual 90 degrees, but more like 110-120 or so.) The Bar+Bistro is immediately to your left on the corner and the parking is kind of off to your left and towards the north-east. If you're traveling east on Charleston, then Art Way is the first light after Main St. Just turn left on Art Way and the Bar+Bistro is immediately to your left on the corner.

There are 3 or 4 entrances to the place so I asked someone working there which was the proper entrance to use and she said they were all okay. I didn't see much seating inside, but there's quite a lot outside.

Annie, as you will be arriving near 5 PM, I will try to be there around 5:15-5:30 or so to buy you your first drink :!: OOps - I guess it will be too late for that

I don't see any way we can get even a ballpark headcount on this. Besides, people will be dropping in and out and it will be very difficult to predict a table for so many at such and such time.

What I might suggest is what we've done at other Pre-DLV venues is that those who want to eat simply use as-available tables.

I will be flying in to Vegas around 4:30 pm on Saturday. I figure by the time I get to hotel, check in and get ready it will be around 9pm. Will DLV'ers still be at the Bar and Bistro or will they be elsewhere. This is my first DLV and I'm really excited to go out.

Thanks,

Amanda

I plan to be there at 5.

6 would be fine for the fashionably late. :)

It would probably be best to phone to be sure. My number is listed in the DLV contact numbers, see large final mailing. I don't want to post it in a public forum.

Annie,

In that case, I will arrive less fashionably late. I have to get up at
4AM to make my flight, so earlier will probably be better, before my
batteries run down. See you tomorrow (damn, DLV is almost here !).
