I have to admit that renting the club for exclusive use would entail at
least a mid five figures. However, perhaps an arrangement ensuring
guaranteed access for our little DLV gathering could be in order. How to
do that I'm not sure.

I know my experience here is limited. However I am not the only TG
person to attend a major nightclub on the strip. I'm not breaking any
new ground here. We just have to learn from those who've gone before us.

Now if we could somehow build a private mainstream party and collect
thousands of dollars in advance, like other private parties and have a
few hundred people, well we can pretty much do as we wish.

Sincerely, J. thinking big and reaching high in LV.

11 months to go.

Do we want to give them our business?

Even if so, OMG, I hate to even estimate how much something like
this would cost. My guess is that it would be well into four
figures, if not five! I'm sure they would want thousands up
front, which would mean prepayment for those who want to do it,
which is a thing our people abhor.

Lacking a sugar-mommy, I don't know if this is realistic.

Jamie,

As far as I am concerned, forget it! I will not go where we are not
wanted! There are plenty of other places in LV. I will never set foot in
the Wynn again, nor will I participate in an activity that uses the Wynn
as a pickup point!

Tootsye I was the one that had the problem with Tryst but I want to re
emphasis that we were treated extremely well at the Wynn except for
Tryst. We went to one of their bars before the LeReve show and were
treated exceptionally well.

We had VIP tickets to LeReve and were waited on constantly with a smile
and courteous service. We went to their four star Italian restaurant
after the show and were accorded VIP treatment (It could have been the
VIP badges we wore), and we had a blast at their other nightclub Blush?.
So I think it would be wrong to not enjoy the other venues at the Wynn.

I just would like to get some kind of response from the Tryst management
about their policy towards our group so we know where we stand. I can't
condemn the Wynn for the incident at Tryst because the rest of our time
in their establishment was outstanding. I do think that the Wynn
management should be informed about the incident to see if they have any
positive reaction the situation that occurred at Tryst.

My understanding is that the Tryst nightclub is not owned by Wynn
Resorts, and that the employees of Tryst are not employees of Wynn
Resorts. Wynn is serving as landlord to the club. I think this helps to
explain why the experiences with the nightclub, and the other venues
differed. I would not be so quick to condemn Wynn for the actions of one
of their tenants.

I'm saddened by what happened. Again I think a bad apple was bitten into
here. I did enjoy my time at Tryst at my private party last year. I was
treated very well by all of the staff I came into contact with. I
presume this includes their security people.

I know I was at a private party. At the end of the party all who were
inside were velcome to stay in the club for the rest of the night, the
club then opening to the public of course. No one came and asked me to
leave. I did not stay, however, because I had to get up early for work
the next morning.

There are places I used to be afraid to venture into. But then I decided
to go in anyway. And things turned out all right. People would say,
don't go to Circus Circus, too many kids. I went, and had a good time.
They say, don't go to North Las Vegas, the old section. I did an errand
there, and it was all right. And some wondered if the Orleans was
t-friendly. I went in, and they are indeed friendly. And I will continue
to be a regular guest of the Wynn, because they take good care of me.

I have a lot to learn about the nightclub scene in LV. I live here, so I
can try to do something. I can try to find some people who would go to
the club with me, and do it regularly, and get to know the people, and
people get educated, and find they have nothing to fear. And then doors
will open.

Or maybe the doors already are. We just have to find out the way in.

Peace, J.

My understanding, is if one were to reserver or rent a whole night club
for a night or private parties, the cost is based on the average intake
of cash they would normally earn that night if the club was open to the
public. If Tryst is a very popular, it will be very expensive.

We could reserve tables or a section a section of the club, but as
Annie says, in either scenario, it will be very expensive to each
individual that attends. I would hate to see this event be a big
disaster and the planner/organizer stuck with a 3-4 figure bill.

With that much money at stake, Tryst logically would probably
require some sort of down payment or credit card bill to know
that we are serious.

There might also be a requirement of drink minimums and if the
group is of a certain size, a mandatory tip percentage will usually
be added to that bill.

It really sounds like very expensive event if it happens.

I would imagine that they would also figure in the loss of money,
and the customer frustration, that they would get for closing the
place for a private party.

Then, I hate to say this, but it is true, that some DLV sponsors
have been burned because participants have not shown up for "Pay
at the door" events that they paid in advance after participants
signed up for them. Someone would have the unpleasant job of
collecting the money in advance, and until the collections were
complete, we could not tell the club for sure how many we would
have.
