Let's think about the dates for Pinkfest 2009!

We had some significant interest in Pinkfest among the DLV
attendees last week and I would like to do all we can to
capture that while the enthusiasm is high.

In order for anyone to plan to attend, they need to know
the dates, and those have not been set -- yet.

Let me throw out two sets of dates for discussion.

I think that PF has worked well with a Thursday evening
through Sunday timeframe. Let's consider two sets of
dates:

1. Thursday, October 15 - Sunday, October 18

2. Thursday, October 22 - Sunday, October 22

I've checked hotels for both spans, they both are still
reasonable, with option 2 being slightly cheaper.

Comments, gang?

In particular, is there anyone who is ABSOLUTELY POSITIVELY
LOCKED OUT of one or the other timeframes, who would
otherwise ABSOLUTELY POSITIVELY BE THERE if the other
timeframe, or another timeframe would be selected?

I will confirm this when things are back to normal next Tuesday after
the Memorial Day Holiday, but I seem to have an unavoidable conflict
Friday afternoon and evening May 16 and all day on Saturday May 17 that
will prevent me from coming during that time period. There is a chance
this meeting has been canceled or that I am not scheduled to be present,
but that is unlikely. Here in East Tennessee we tend to have meetings
such as this one when there is no UT football game and the Vols are off
that weekend.

As of now I have nothing on my calendar for the periods beginning on the
22d or 29th that would preclude my participation, but I will also verify
that on Tuesday.

I assume you mean OCTOBER 16 and 17?

Hi All,

I have a conflict on Saturday, Oct 17 so I prefer Oct 22 -25. If we
had to, we could do for the earlier weekend with me missing just the
Saturday.
