2008 Pinkfest Schedule - 1st draft

It's just that I am planning on arriving on Thursday, just before noon.
I am also wanting to leave on Sunday in time to get to Springfield, Il
or so by evening.

I see that the events on Thursday are right next door to each other. I
probably wont be able to get into my hotel room until around 3:00pm.

I also see that parking in the Hard Rock area might be difficult. I was
thinking about stopping by on my way to the hotel.

I have been doing some research on Public Transit, and feel that it will
work for me in most instances.

Parking in River North is not really difficult, just expensive.
There are pay lots all over the place, but they ain't cheap.

IIRC, Hard Rock has valet parking. It might be very convenient
for you.

For a very good resource for the CTA El and Subway system, with
some (blow on fingernails, wipe on blouse) very good photos, :)

(Yes, I do take photos of things other than people partying
in bars!) :)

If you're referring to the nycsubway site, that's not mine,
I'm just one of several contributors to that site. I do have
several photos, some going back many years, scattered about
that site.

One section of that site which may be of interest to DLVers
is the LV Monorail section at:

The photo blog is, however, mine, something I started a couple
years ago, when I got tired of maintaining the vanity page.
(Vanity pages are soooooo 20th. century!) :)

Pinkfesters may find "Beneath the Windy City", "Chicago in
Kodachrome", "Cross-processing The Bean", and "Forbidden
Images, Polishing The Bean" of interest.

DLVers may find "Weegee on Fremont Street" and "On Carnival
Court" interesting.

Very nice! :)

Hmmmm ... (wheels turning) ... I wonder if there would be any
interest in a DLV (or even a Pinkfest) photo exhibit. :)
